NXP Semiconductors N.V. in Catania is seeking a technical leader to bridge HW and SW for MCU platforms. You will drive low-level IP firmware and device drivers, working with central SW teams to maximize reuse and ensure HW compatibility.

The role involves architecture definition, RTL bring-up, and cross-team collaboration, mentoring engineers, and delivering reliable SDKs across SoCs.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture and/or firmware development for MCUs/MPUs.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving technical direction.
• Proficiency in C/C++/Assembly and scripting languages.

Mansioni

• Technical lead for SOC products and low-level IP firmware development.
• Collaborate with central SW teams to maximize reuse and ensure HW compatibility.
• Define architecture methodologies for reusable low-level APIs across programs.
• Coordinate with HW/SW teams through RTL verification and post-silicon validation.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive high-quality documentation and reviews.
