Siemens Energy in Trento, Italy, is seeking a Test Field technician to support a quality-driven program for medium power transformers. You will set up test benches, run electrical and mechanical tests, and document results according to technical specs and regulatory standards.

You will analyze outcomes in real-time, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure data integrity while adhering to safety procedures. Travel may be required, and fluency in Italian with good English is essential.

Competenze

Technical diploma or vocational degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or related field.
2–5 years of experience as a test technician or quality inspector in heavy industry.
Experience with high-voltage equipment, especially power transformers.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in testing, calibration, and reporting.
Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Mansioni

Set up and configure test benches and measurement equipment for routine and type tests on power transformers.
Execute electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic tests based on technical specifications, blueprints, and procedures.
Analyze test results in real-time to identify deviations or non-conformities in product performance.
Perform basic troubleshooting on test setups and equipment to ensure accuracy and resolve issues.
Record all test data and inspection results in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
