Siemens Energy is seeking a Design Engineer for Medium Voltage Transformer Stations in Italy. You will design MV/LV substations, prepare single line diagrams, protection schemes, and cable layouts, and collaborate with sales, PM, and manufacturing to deliver scalable, cost-efficient solutions.

You’ll perform load flow, short-circuit, and voltage drop calculations and ensure IEC compliance. Experience with prefabricated substations and data centers is a strong advantage; fluent English and

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7+ years of MV distribution experience with utilities, OEMs, or EPCs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/EPLAN and ETAP or DIgSILENT.
• Structured, detail oriented with strong cross functional teamwork.

Mansioni

• Design MV/LV transformer stations including single line diagrams and protection schemes.
