Siemens Energy in Trento, Italy, is seeking a Test Field technician to support a quality-driven program for medium power transformers. You will set up test benches, run electrical and mechanical tests, and document results according to technical specs and regulatory standards.

You will analyze outcomes in real-time, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure data integrity while adhering to safety procedures. Travel may be required, and fluency in Italian with good English is essential.

Competenze

• Technical diploma or vocational degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or related field.

• Perform basic troubleshooting on test setups and equipment to ensure accuracy and resolve minor issues independently.
• You will accurately record all test data and inspection results in compliance with company and ISO 9001 standards.

What You Bring

• Technical diploma or vocational degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as a test technician or quality control inspector in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment, typically requiring 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with high-voltage equipment, particularly power transformers, is highly desirable.
• You possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in laboratory testing, calibration, and report writing.
• Your commitment to safety assurance and regulatory compliance is evident in your work ethic.
• Travel may be required for this role.
• Fluency in Italian is required, a good level of English is essential for the role.

The total compensation package for this position, including both fixed and variable components, ranges between € 33.000 - € 45.000 gross per year.

Salary ranges for this role are provided in accordance with applicable local legislation. The stated range is based on the Italian labour market.
