Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. in Milan, Lombardy, Italy, seeks a Service Sales professional to develop preliminary solutions and technical/commercial offers for HV substation services, HVDC service, and related digital improvements.

The role focuses on leading tenders, expanding installed base opportunities, and building long-term customer relationships with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical / Energy / Mechanical / Automation / Electronic Engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
• Good knowledge of written/spoken English and Italian.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end preparation of technical and commercial tenders as Tender Responsible.
• Develop competitive proposals with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on scope, technical solution, delivery model, risk, and pricing.
• Generate Service sales leads and develop new market opportunities.
• Establish long-term customer relationships and register feedback to ensure satisfaction.
• Implement a lean Installed Base data management strategy and automate data capture.
• Contribute to risk assessments related to price and quality; ensure safety and cost-effectiveness.
