ERM in Milan is seeking an intern to join the Health and Safety Team, working on EHS strategy, management systems, and audit programs. You will support compliance activities, training, and reporting for multinational clients, aligning with ISO standards.

The role requires a Master’s degree in environmental fields, familiarity with EHS regulations, and strong English skills (B2/C1); travel and international collaboration are expected.

Competenze

• Master's degree in environmental engineering, environmental sciences or related discipline.
• Familiarity with EHS regulations and industrial hygiene basics.
• Willingness to travel and work in an international environment.
• Good knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in English (B2/C1); knowledge of another European language is a plus.

ERM is looking for an intern willing to join our Italian Branch in Milan and to work in our Health and Safety Team. The team works with multi‑national corporate companies and provides services such as EHS strategy, designing and implementing EHS management systems, compliance management support and delivering audit programs, and covering the breadth of the environment through to health and safety disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support on the performance of compliance and technical audits, awareness raising, training programs, and hazard and risk identification and assessment.
• Work on the preparation of the material for activities related to H&S Training and field coaching, including competency assessment, training programs for behavioural change, human factor analysis and assessment.
• Support in the development of Environmental Management and Health and Safety Systems according to ISO standards.
• Support the team in the writing of high‑quality reports to meet the needs of our clients and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental sciences or other relevant disciplines.
• Familiarity with EHS regulations and industrial hygiene basics.
• Willingness to travel and to work in an international environment, curiosity, flexibility, team player attitude, and accuracy in delivery.
• Good knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken (level B2/C1). Knowledge of another European language will be considered a plus.
