Job summary

Synergy Construction is seeking a Health and Safety Supervisor for a Verona-area project. You will need at least 2 years on-site experience, familiarity with Italian OHS regulations, and a technical degree (engineering or related).

Responsibilities include OHS training, documenting and reporting activities, and implementing preventive actions. English and Italian proficiency required; Nebosh/IosH certificates are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of site experience on construction projects.
• Knowledge of Italian OHS regulations and related laws.
• Graduated from engineering or technical departments.
• Familiar with current legislation and regulations.
• Skilled in documentation and reporting processes.
• Proficient in MS Office programs.

• Fulfill duties per Occupational Health and Safety Law and related regulations.
• Give introductory OHS training.
• Carry out corrective and preventive actions for OHS.
• Plan, implement and follow up safety measures.
• Conduct documentation studies per OHS regulations.
• Regular reporting of all OHS activities.
• Active field presence and field work.

As for the skills and experience we are looking for:

• Having at least 2 years of site experience (Preferably on the construction especially lifting operations)
• Having knowledge of the Italian legal regulations related to Occupational Health and Safety
• Graduated from related departments of universities (Preferably Engineer or having Technical background
• Familiar with current legislation and regulations
• Skilled in the documentation and reporting processes
• Proficiency and effective use of MS Office programs
• Having Nebosh and IOSH certificates is preferred
• Having high proficiency in English and native Italian

Job Description:

• To fulfill all duties in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law and the regulation on the duties, authorities, responsibilities, and training of Occupational Health and Safety experts
• Giving introductory OHS Training
• Carrying out corrective and preventive actions regarding Occupational Health and Safety
• Planning, implementation, and follow-up of the measures to be taken
• Carrying out documentation studies in accordance with OHS regulations
• Regular reporting of all Occupational Health and Safety activities
• Being able to work actively in the field
