Job summary

Exyte in Agrate Brianza, Lombardy, Italy seeks an experienced HSE Coordinator to ensure high Health, Safety & Environmental standards on complex industrial and data center construction projects. The role is fixed-term for one year with potential extension based on project needs.

You will lead inspections, monitor PTW processes, and drive safety improvements while coordinating with subcontractors, site management, and stakeholders. Fluency in Italian and English is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HSE coordination within industrial, infrastructure, or data center construction projects.
• Solid knowledge of site safety regulations, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
• CSP/CSE qualification is considered an advantage.
• Proficient Italian language skills with operational English.
• Proactive, structured, hands-on approach to safety on site.

This position is offered on a fixed-term contract for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of extension for an additional year based on project requirements and business needs.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform daily and weekly HSE inspections across all site activities.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements and Permit to Work (PTW) processes.
• Support and coordinate CSE site inspections and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Facilitate effective collaboration between subcontractors, site management, and project stakeholders.
• Lead daily and weekly Toolbox Talks and promote safety awareness throughout the project.
• Collect, analyze, and report safety metrics, including near misses, audits, inspections, and observations.
• Identify potential risks, resolve operational safety conflicts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Show your expertise

• Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HSE coordination within industrial, infrastructure, or data center construction projects.
• Solid knowledge of site safety regulations, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
• CSP/CSE qualification in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008 is considered an advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
• Professional working proficiency in Italian and operational fluency in English.
• Proactive, structured, and hands-on approach with a strong commitment to workplace safety.

The salary range for this position is between € 41,400 and € 55,100 gross per year (full-time). The exact salary will be determined within this range based on objective and transparent criteria, including role scope, qualifications, and relevant professional experience.
