Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals in Milan is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our M Renewables team. You will supervise safety on projects, implement HSE systems and ensure compliance with local legislation while driving a culture of resilience and excellence.

The role requires 5+ years of HSE experience, knowledge of OSHAS 18001 and ISO 14001, and willingness to travel to project sites. An attractive remuneration package accompanies the starting €48,200 gross annual salary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven HSE experience in related field, preferably renewables.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Italian and English knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal direction.
• Working knowledge of OSHAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise project direction, ensuring client specifications are met and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
• Implement H&S management systems to ensure legal obligations and our safety culture are supported.
• Identify, deliver and monitor training needs.
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers.
• Check and prepare site reports and manage paperwork.
• Manage the risk management system and undertake risk assessments.
• Direct the Head Site Manager with local legislations.
• Other duties as directed by supervisor.

We are currently looking for aHSE Managerto join our M Renewables team in ourMilanoffices.

Your role will encompass:

• Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project (or a cluster of projects), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
• Responsible for the implementation of H&S management systems to ensure both legal obligations and our UCB bespoke safety culture are adequately supported
• Ensure training needs are identified, delivered and monitored
• Coordinating and supervising construction workers
• Checking and preparing site reports and keeping on top of paperwork
• Manage the risk management system i.e. facilitating risk assessors and/or undertaking risk assessments personally and reviewing control measures in place
• Direct the Head Site Manager with the local legislations
• Other duties as directed by supervisor

Compensation & Contractual Framework

The starting gross annual salary (RAL) for this position is €48,200, based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.

The final compensation may reflect the candidate’s relevant experience and competencies, in line with the Company’s remuneration framework.

What you bring to the role:

• 5+ years proven HSE experience in releted field, preferebly renewables
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Italian and English knowledge
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal direction/supervision
