Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction activities at the site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety regulations based on the Construction Manager's guidance.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements.
• Collaborate closely with subcontractors and other related parties to ensure timely project completion.
• Analyze and interpret engineering plans, data, and technical drawings to plan and execute construction activities.
• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials, ensuring their compliance with industry standards.
• Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures to minimize delays, costs and safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily progress reports and site diaries.
• Assist in implementing the site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare daily and daily/weekly progress reports; assist in preparation of as-built project documentation.

We are looking for a Site Engineer having the following qualifications to be assigned in our company for our upcoming project near Verona.

As for the skills and experience we are looking for:

• University degree (BS/MS) in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• Minimum 4 years of experience on international industrial/construction projects
• Awareness of Italian construction codes and regulations
• Experience in superstructure construction
• Excellent organization and teamwork skills
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Self-oriented, disciplined, and well-organized
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office software
• Fluent in English and Italian verbal and written
• Good communication skills and well-motivated
• No obstacle to travel to other countries and stay there long-term

Job Description:

• To prepare daily and daily/weekly progress reports
• Assist in the preparation of the project as built
