Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Italy is seeking an HR Generalist to manage recruitment and onboarding for blue‑collar staff across Italy, including engagement with temporary workers and agencies. The role is based in Suisio/San Bonifacio with travel to other Italian locations.

You will partner with the local HR Business Partner, apply CCNL Metalmeccanico, handle HR administration across the employee lifecycle, and drive process improvements while supporting managers with labour relations.

Competenze

• Degree in HR or a related field.
• 4–5 years of HR generalist or HR administration experience in manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of Italian labour law and CCNL (Metalmeccanico).
• Hands-on recruitment and onboarding experience, including blue‑collar staff.
• Experience with temporary work agencies and contingent staffing.

Role Overview

• Manage the recruitment and onboarding process across Italy for blue‑collar employees, contingent workers, consultants and temporary staff, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Manage the relationship with temporary work agencies, from sourcing and contracting to service quality follow-up and cost control.
• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and supervisors on labor relations and basic legal aspects, in coordination with the local HR Business Partner and the shared service center.
• Manage HR administration and the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
• Deliver compliant, efficient and business‑focused HR support daily.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, identifying opportunities to simplify workflows, increase efficiency and optimise costs.
• Prioritise and collaborate with HR teams across countries to share best practices, harmonise processes and leverage synergies to improve service delivery.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to implement Employer Branding initiatives aligned with business needs.
• Support managers in anticipating staffing needs, coordinating recruitment and contingent workforce planning accordingly.

The role is based in Suisio/San Bonifacio, with frequent travel to other Italian locations.

Qualifications

• A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR administration role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Good working knowledge of Italian labour law and national collective agreements (CCNL, ideally Metalmeccanico).
• Hands‑on experience in recruitment and onboarding, including blue‑collar and contingent workforce populations.
• Practical experience of working with temporary work agencies and managing contingent staffing needs.
• A service‑minded and approachable style, you are a reliable first point of contact for managers and employees on day‑to‑day HR matters.
• A structured, process‑oriented mindset, with a genuine interest in simplification and digitalisation.
• Comfort working with HR systems and data (HRIS, ATS, Excel).
• Fluent Italian and good English, both written and spoken.
• Extensive experience and proficiency with the Office suite.
• Strong integrity, discretion and people orientation.
