Job summary

Westlake Global Compounds is seeking an HR Business Partner to shape an engaging workplace at our Samarate site in Italy. You will partner with managers, support employees throughout the career journey, and drive HR initiatives that contribute to the site's success.

You will coach managers, oversee recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding, and foster a high-performing, inclusive culture while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of HR experience, ideally as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner in an international manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of Italian labor law and employee relations practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
• Experience advising managers on performance, talent, and organizational topics.
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
• Analytical thinking and comfort with HR data and metrics.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent Italian and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted partner and coach to managers on all employee and organizational matters.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development, performance management, and offboarding.
• Foster a positive employee experience and help build a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture.
• Advise on employee relations topics and ensure compliance with labor legislation and company policies.
• Collaborate with employee representatives and support industrial relations activities.
• Drive talent management, learning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
• Support compensation, benefits, payroll, and workforce planning processes.
• Analyze HR data and trends to provide insights that support business decisions.
• Lead and contribute to local and global HR projects and change initiatives.
• Promote our company values and help strengthen employee engagement across the site.
