Job summary

Westlake Global Compounds in Samarate, Italy, is seeking an HR Business Partner to partner with managers and drive HR initiatives. You will support the entire employee lifecycle, influence organizational development, and ensure labor law compliance in a multinational manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have an HR degree, several years of experience, strong Italian labor law knowledge, and fluency in Italian and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of HR experience, ideally as a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner in an international manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of Italian labor law and employee relations practices.
• Fluent Italian and English language skills.

• Serve as a trusted partner and coach to managers on all employee and organizational matters.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development, performance management, and offboarding.
• Foster a positive employee experience and help build a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture.
• Advise on employee relations topics and ensure compliance with labor legislation and company policies.
• Collaborate with employee representatives and support industrial relations activities.
• Drive talent management, learning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
• Support compensation, benefits, payroll, and workforce planning processes.
• Analyze HR data and trends to provide insights that support business decisions.
• Lead and contribute to local and global HR projects and change initiatives.
• Promote our company values and help strengthen employee engagement across the site.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Several years of HR experience, ideally as a Human Resources Generalist or HR Business Partner in an international manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of Italian labor law and employee relations practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
• Experience advising managers on performance, talent, and organizational topics
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
• Analytical thinking and confidence in working with HR data and metrics
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent Italian and English language skills
