Job summary

Anantara Hotels and Resorts in Italy is seeking a Maintenance Official to support the Maintenance Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment is properly operated, maintained and inspected to meet luxury standards in our Amalfi property.

The role requires 2–3 years of hotel maintenance experience, vocational training in electrical/electronics or HVAC, fluency in Italian, knowledge of English, and strong organizational and problem-solving

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a hotel/service environment.
• Vocational training in electrical/electronics, HVAC or related fields.
• Fluency in local language; working knowledge of English is valuable.
• Comfort with coordinating with vendors and internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance manager with day-to-day operations and preventive maintenance.
• Perform corrective maintenance and ensure timely repairs.
• Support security measures and permit management.
• Coordinate with vendors and departments to manage contracts and upkeep.
• Monitor energy consumption and maintenance costs; assist with meeting room setups.
• Resolve guest incidents related to maintenance promptly.
