Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA is looking for a Heat Treatment Operator to operate heat treating equipment in Monfalcone. The role involves completing post-welding thermal treatment tasks and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in heat treatment operations and must be available to work in three shifts. An annual gross salary range of €30,000 to €38,500 is offered, along with various employee benefits including attractive remuneration and a performance bonus.

About The Role

The primary function for the Heat Treatment Operator is to operate heat treating equipment (furnace) with the purpose of completing post‑welding thermal treatment and localized thermal treatment.

You will report to Nuclear Fabrication Manager and be located in Monfalcone site.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑start up checks;
• Prepare furnace or localized thermal treatment equipment for the operations;
• Monitor heating and cooling cycles, adjust and control temperatures and heating times by reading temperature instruments and charts according to project procedures;
• Detect and notify malfunctions of the equipment to supervisors;
• Move parts or furnace components into position, manually or with hoists or cranes;
• Provide support to fitters;
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).

Qualifications

• Professional school diploma;
• Previous experience in heat treatment operations (min. 6 years);
• Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am;
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level)
