Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA in Monfalcone, Italy, seeks a Heath Treatment Operator to operate heat treating equipment for post-welding and localized thermal treatment. The role reports to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and is based at the Monfalcone site.

Responsibilities include prestart checks, furnace setup, monitoring cycles, and ensuring safety and quality procedures are followed. The position requires 6+ years in heat treatment and fluency in Italian and English (min B1).

Competenze

• Minimum 6 years of experience in heat treatment operations.
• Ability to work shifts: morning, afternoon, night.
• Proficiency in Italian and English (min B1).

Mansioni

• Conduct prestart up checks.
• Prepare furnace or localized thermal treatment equipment for the operations.
• Monitor heating and cooling cycles, adjust and control temperatures and heating times by reading temperature instruments and charts according to project procedures.
• Detect and notify malfunctions of the equipment to supervisors.
• Move parts or furnace components into position, manually or with hoists or cranes.
• Provide support to fitters.
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).
