Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA is seeking a Welder for our Monfalcone site. The role involves welding using GTAW, SAW and ESW processes and reporting to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager on site.

Requirements include a professional diploma, 4+ years welding experience, proficiency with WPS, and willingness to work three shifts. Knowledge of Italian and English at least B1 is required.

Competenze

• Professional school diploma.
• 4+ years of welding experience with GTAW/SAW/ESW.
• Proficient with Welding Process Specifications (WPS).
• Willingness to work in three shifts (Shift 1 6:00–14:00, Shift 2 14:00–22:00, Night 22:00–06:00).
• Knowledge of Italian and English (min. B1).

About The Role

The primary function for the Welder is to perform welds in manual and/or semi-automatic welding process.

You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and be located in Monfalcone site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using GTAW, SAW and ESW processes;
• Record essential welding parameters using welding monitoring templates;
• Verify proper preparation of components and surfaces before welding;
• Identify defects in equipment, materials, and welds, and report them to supervisors;
• Position and move parts manually or using hoists and cranes;
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).

Qualifications

• Professional school diploma;
• Previous experience with GTAW/SAW/ESW welding (min. 4 years);
• Proficient in WPS (Welding Process specifications);
• Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).
