Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA in Monfalcone, Italy, seeks a welder to perform welding in manual and semi-automatic processes. You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and work at the Monfalcone site.

The role requires 2+ years of GTAW/SAW/ESW welding, knowledge of WPS, and availability for three shifts (6:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–06:00). Italian and English proficiency at least B1 is expected.

About The Role

The primary function for the Welder is to perform welds in manual and/or semi-automatic welding process.

You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and be located in Monfalcone site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using GTAW, SAW and ESW processes;
• Record essential welding parameters using welding monitoring templates;
• Verify proper preparation of components and surfaces before welding;
• Identify defects in equipment, materials, and welds, and report them to supervisors;
• Position and move parts manually or using hoists and cranes;
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).

Qualifications

• Professional school diploma;
• Previous experience with GTAW/SAW/ESW welding (min. 2 years);
• Familiar with WPS (Welding Process Specifications);
• Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).
