Job summary

Swisslog Healthcare is seeking a Software Automation Engineer to advance automation solutions for hospital workflows and medication management. You will translate requirements into reliable automation software, contribute to system architecture, and prepare functional specifications and acceptance criteria for projects.

The role involves designing, testing, and documenting complex automated control systems with a focus on real-time performance and motion control. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

Minimum ~5 years in automation industry.
Strong PLC programming skills, preferably Structured Text.
Solid knowledge of automation systems architecture and real-time concepts.
Experience with commissioning and testing of automated control systems.
Knowledge of motion control systems (servos/stepper motors).
Ability to create functional specifications and test procedures.
Good knowledge of English.
