Job summary

Swisslog Healthcare in Italy seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join our team, contributing to automation solutions for hospital workflows and medication management. English proficiency required; 3 years of experience and a degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of mechanical components and subsystems.
• Deep understanding of automation design and architecture.
• Good knowledge of English language.
• Experience with PLM and ERP.
• Experience with 3D design tools (CAD).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical components and subsystems, translating requirements into automated solutions.
• Own the delivery of assigned project scope, including design, implementation, testing, integration, and documentation.
• Analyze and challenge requirements to ensure robust, efficient, and compliant technical solutions.
• Produce technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project delivery targets.
• Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Contribute to system design decisions and perform design risk assessments.
• Define technical specifications for procurement of project-related equipment.
