Job summary

Swisslog Healthcare is hiring a Tier III Technician in Maranello, Italy. You will provide technical support to on-site technicians and help troubleshoot and restore complex systems. You will report recurring issues to Quality and Engineering to drive continuous improvement.

The role demands PLC knowledge (Siemens/Beckhoff), Mechatronics understanding, and strong English communication. On-call rotation is required, with compensation terms following CCNL Metalmeccanico.

Qualifications

• Relational database analysis and programming with SQL Server.
• Experience in software development, preferably VB6, C++, C#.
• Computer troubleshooting including software/driver installation in Windows environments.

Identify and report recurring issues to Quality and Engineering teams, contributing to continuous product improvement, enhanced quality, and increased safety.### Application RequirementsWhat you need to succeedTo be successful in the role we are looking for: Good knowledge of relational database analysis and programming, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.Basic knowledge of software development, preferably in VB6, C++, and C#.Experience in computer troubleshooting, including software and driver installation/configuration, and hardware component replacement in a Microsoft Windows environment.Basic knowledge of PLC systems, including configuration, operation, and troubleshooting (Siemens and Beckhoff preferred).Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical schematics.Basic mechatronic knowledge and troubleshooting skills.Strong customer focus with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs and expectations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and business partners.Fluent written and spoken English is requiredWillingness to participate in an on-call support rotation (7-day shifts), providing remote assistance outside regular business hours for urgent customer issues.
