DXC Technology invites recent graduates to join an Academy for Full Stack and AI-assisted software development in Rome. The program covers 22 training days on Java, Spring Boot, React and AI-assisted tools, followed by joining teams as Junior Software Developer.

The role focuses on designing and implementing software, collaborating across roles, and applying Agile, DevOps and Microservices. Hybrid work model with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Recently graduated in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Interest in software development and web technologies.
• Basic knowledge of programming and software development principles.
• Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Java, web development, databases, Cloud, DevOps or Microservices.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence applied to software development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute unit tests to implement new or enhanced software solutions.
• Collaborate with project roles to understand business context and requirements.
• Use tools to analyze and resolve technical problems.
• Develop applications using Java, Spring, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
• Work with Agile, DevOps and Microservices approaches.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing and documentation.
• Stay up to date with emerging tools and technologies.
