Job summary

DXC Technology is launching a dedicated Academy in Bari for recent graduates to become Junior Software Developers. The program covers Full Stack and AI-assisted development with 22 days of training, starting January 11 and hiring on February 10. After training, you join teams to work on real projects.

You will design and develop applications using Java, Spring, REST, SQL/NoSQL and React, in a hybrid work model with smart working options and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Recently graduated in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Interest in software development and web technologies.
• Basic knowledge of programming and software development principles.
• Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Java, web development, databases, Cloud, DevOps or Microservices.
• Interest in AI applied to software development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

DXC Technology is looking for recent graduates to join our Custom Applications offering through a dedicated Academy designed to develop technical skills in Full Stack and AI-assisted software development. The Academy includes 22 days training program covering the main Full Stack development technologies, from Java and Spring Boot to databases, REST APIs and React, together with the fundamentals of Agile Scrum. During the training, you will also learn how to use GitHub Copilot and AI tools to support software development activities. After the training period, you will join our teams as a Junior Software Developer, working on application and web development projects and contributing to the design, development and evolution of software solutions. Academy start date: 11th January Hiring start date: 10th February

Offer Package

The position offers a gross annual base salary of €26,000 for graduates and €24,000 for candidates with high school diploma or students who are not yet close to graduation. Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per il personale dipendente da imprese esercenti servizi di telecomunicazione) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsability, experience and skills.
