DXC Technology is recruiting recent graduates for our Custom Applications Academy in Bari, featuring a 22-day training program in Full Stack and AI-assisted software development. After training, you will join teams as a Junior Software Developer, contributing to the design, development and evolution of software solutions.

Academy starts 11th January; hiring starts 10th February. The role offers a hybrid work model, with a base annual gross salary of €26,000 for graduates and €24,000 for high

Qualifications

• Recently graduated in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Interest in software development and web technologies.
• Basic knowledge of programming and software development principles.
• Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Java, web development, databases, Cloud, DevOps or Microservices.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence applied to software development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute unit tests to implement new or enhanced business and technical software solutions.
• Collaborate with different project roles to understand the business environment, technical context and project requirements.
• Use appropriate tools and methodologies to analyze and resolve technical problems.
• Develop applications using technologies such as Java, Spring and Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
• Work with modern software development approaches, including Agile, DevOps and Microservices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to support activities such as coding, testing, debugging, refactoring and documentation.
• Stay up to date with emerging tools, techniques and technologies.
