Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll Team in Milan. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for one of our staffing entities, coordinating with our external provider and acting as the main contact for employees.

The role requires a BSc or MSc, 2–3 years’ experience, advanced Excel skills, and fluency in Italian and English. Knowledge of Zucchetti payroll software is a plus, and you will support process improvements and regulatory updates.

Qualifications

• Bsc or Master’s degree.
• Solid communication and problem solving skills.
• Proven teamwork experience.
• 2-3 years of related professional experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Italian and English language proficiency.
• Knowledge of the temporary staffing sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate collection and input of payroll data with external provider.
• Manage monthly payroll variables (absences, overtime, bonuses, benefits).
• Review and validate payroll outputs (payslips) for deadlines and standards.
• Stay up to date on payroll regulations and CCNL.
• Act as a point of contact for employees and external partners on payroll/compensation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes.
• Provide cross-functional support on insurance programs and protected categories.
• Support implementation of policy changes within own area.
