Qualifications

• Culinary school diploma or equivalent training in Gastronomy or Hospitality.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in 4* or 5* hotels.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
• Passion for cooking, willingness to learn, and a proactive mindset.
• Team player with good communication and organisational skills.
• Fluency in the local language and good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, maintaining consistency in food quality, hygiene and presentation.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of dishes across services: breakfast, à la carte, banquets, and room service.
• Help ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP) and sustainability practices.
• Participate in menu planning, stock checks, and daily briefings.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service staff.
• Mise en place organization and learning to manage orders and inventory under guidance of senior chefs.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
