IOM in Rome, Italy seeks a Finance Associate to support budget monitoring, accounting, and reporting in line with IOM policies. You will work under supervision to ensure timely financial processing and integrity across resources and donors.

The role requires a degree in business, accounting, or finance and relevant experience; proficiency in MS Office and SAP is helpful. This position is based in Lazio, Roma with standard UN/NGO benefits.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience; alternative 5 years with a high school diploma.
• Experience in accounting, financial management, and donor reporting is preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and cost estimation.
• Prepare and reconcile bank, cash, vendor and general ledger accounts.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to donors.
• Maintain accounting documentation and petty cash records.
• Provide guidance on financial matters and support staff travel claims.
