IOM is seeking a Finance Associate to support financial operations, budget monitoring and reporting in line with policies. You will input data, perform reconciliations, and assist in donor reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

You will also support staff with travel claims, vendor setup in Wave, and ensure proper documentation for payments, with fluency in English and Italian required for the selection process.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field; or, High School diploma with five years of relevant experience.
• Experience in accounting, financial management, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience a plus.

Mansioni

• Assist in managing financial resources by monitoring assets, reserves, funds, supplies, etc.
• Assist in preparing annual budget submissions including staff costs, rental and utilities, and contracts.
• Extract and input data into financial systems and perform reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and donor reports.
• Verify payments and ensure required documents are attached.
• Create vendor accounts in Wave and verify vendor claims for accuracy.
• Provide staff with travel, expense claim support, and document retrieval.
• Assist in preparing annual income tax exemptions for staff.
• Ensure proper and systematic completion of all posted payments and accounting documents.
• Maintain Petty Cash and perform other relevant duties.
