The World Food Programme in Italy seeks a Finance Support Associate to contribute to accounts payable, master data management and cash administration within the UNHRD network finance function. Responsibilities include processing vendor invoices, supporting SAP entries, and assisting with internal control tasks, reconciliations and basic financial reporting in a dynamic humanitarian context.

Competenze

• Secondary school education; a post‑secondary certificate or diploma in finance, accounting, business administration, economics or a related field is desirable.
• at least four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, treasury or related business support functions.
• experience in accounts payable, invoice processing and financial reconciliation activities.
• experience with erp systems, preferably sap or similar platforms.
• knowledge of international accounting standards (ifrs, ipsas) is desirable.
• fluency in english (c level).

• respond to queries and provide timely and accurate service to clients.
• process and manage routine administrative and financial tasks, including accounts payable and cash administration.
• provide revision and proof‑reading services for standard documents.
