Bystronic Group is seeking a 2nd Level Service Technician to provide hands-on support for 1st Level teams and ensure maximum uptime of Bystronic tube laser machines at customer sites worldwide. The role involves installation, commissioning, and sophisticated repairs across Europe, with a focus on safety and high-quality service delivery.

You will diagnose complex issues, retrofit and update CNC/PLC systems, and train colleagues on safety and technical skills.

Competenze

• 3-5 years of technical service experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or software engineering.
• Hands-on commissioning of industrial machinery (installation, testing, troubleshooting, start-up).
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and documentation practices.

Mansioni

• Install, disassemble, commission and hand over Bystronic tube laser machines, including system integration.
• Diagnose and fix complex issues; mentor other technicians.
• Retrofit machines at customer sites, updating electric, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Perform CNC/PLC software updates and verify results.
• Interact with customers to identify upgrade opportunities and provide optimization recommendations.
• Document service reports, collect customer feedback, and update installation records in CRM.
