Bystronic Group is seeking a 2nd Level Service Technician to provide hands-on support to 1st Level teams, ensuring maximum uptime of tube laser machines at customer premises worldwide. The role emphasizes installation, commissioning, and complex diagnostics, with significant travel across Europe and beyond.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of technical service experience, hands-on commissioning of industrial machinery, and a strong commitment to safety and precise documentation.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of technical service experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or software engineering.
• Hands-on commissioning of industrial machinery including installation, testing, and start-up.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and accurate documentation.

Mansioni

• Install, fully disassemble, revise, assemble, commission and hand over Bystronic tube laser machines and system integrations.
• Resolve very complex issues; mentor other technicians.
• Assemble electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic installations.
• Perform advanced repairs and measurements.
• Retrofit Bystronic machines at customer sites including modifying electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Update/modify CNC/PLC software and verify successful changes.
• Diagnose and adjust CNC/PLC parameters and perform software updates/downgrades.
• Identify needs and opportunities for upgrades to support customer needs.
• Advise and provide optimization suggestions for machines at customer sites.
• Prepare and communicate service reports and installation documentation in CRM.
• Train colleagues on safety and PLC/CNC skills.
• Follow ISO quality improvement guidelines.
