Descrizione del lavoro

Bystronic Group is seeking a 2nd Level Service Technician to provide hands-on support to 1st Level teams and ensure maximum uptime of Bystronic tube laser machines at customer premises worldwide. The role involves installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and retrofits, with a strong emphasis on safety and CRM documentation.

You will travel approx. 80% of the time, mainly in Europe, and mentor junior technicians while collaborating with a global service organization.

Competenze

3–5 years technical service experience in mechanical/electrical/pneumatic or software engineering.
Hands-on commissioning of industrial machinery including installation, testing and startup.
Solid knowledge of safety regulations and documentation compliance.

Mansioni

Install, disassemble, revise, assemble, commission and hand over Bystronic tube laser machines including system integrations.
Diagnose and resolve very complex issues; mentor other technicians.
Assemble electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic installations.
Perform advanced repairs and measurements; update/modify CNC/PLC software as needed and test results.
Retrofit Bystronic machines at customer sites and modify electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Document service reports and customer feedback in CRM; communicate installation documentation.
Train colleagues on safety instructions and PLC/CNC skills; participate in ISO quality improvements.
