Job summary

Steinert is seeking a Service Engineer to manage commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of separation machines mainly for Italy, with global project involvement. The role requires strong Italian and English communication, willingness to travel, and hands-on experience in service delivery.

You will plan tools, support service sales and produce detailed service documentation. Flexible hours and mobile working options are available within a growing international group.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or technical education specialized in electrical engineering or mechatronics.
• Experience as service engineer/technician and in service delivery.
• Good communications in Italian and English; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, planning and conduction of services for separation machines and systems, with focus on Italy and globally: commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, interventions, remote supports, trainings.
• Plan required tools and equipment.
• Support in service sales (spare parts, wear parts, and service agreements).
• Create service reports, commissioning protocols, action plans, time sheets.
• Communicate with customers and provide consultation.
