Rochester Executive Advisory supports an international industrial group in Verona, Italy, to appoint a Global Commodity Manager – Engineering Technical Area. The role defines sourcing strategies across CAPEX, OPEX and MRO, ensuring competitiveness and value creation across the group.

The position manages two staff and collaborates with Operations, Finance and Legal to deploy supplier programs and drive cost reductions, with English fluency required for global coordination.

Competenze

• Must hold a technical degree, preferably in Engineering.
• Senior level experience (10+ years) linking Engineering and Procurement.
• Experience managing engineering/technical procurement across CAPEX, OPEX and MRO.
• Experience coordinating technical projects and cost optimization initiatives.

Mansioni

• Define and implement sourcing strategies across CAPEX, OPEX and MRO for Engineering/TechnicalProcurement.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, negotiations and contract finalization with Legal.
• Coordinate cost optimization initiatives with Operations, Finance and Controlling.
• Manage two resources (1 strategic buyer, 1 buyer) and collaborate with Plants worldwide.
• Drive supplier performance improvements and value‑creation programs.
