Rochester Executive Advisory seeks a Global Commodity Manager for the Engineering Technical Area based in Verona, Italy. You will define sourcing strategies, lead RFQ/RFP processes, and manage supplier performance across CAPEX, OPEX and MRO.

The role includes owning cost-optimisation initiatives, coordinating with Operations, Finance and Controlling, and driving value creation in a cross-functional, international context.

Competenze

• Technical degree required, preferably in Engineering
• 10 years’ experience in contexts where Engineering and Procurement are connected
• Experience across CAPEX, OPEX and MRO procurement
• Managing engineering/technical procurement projects and cost optimisation initiatives
• Knowledge of TCO, negotiation booklets, open-book costing, make-or-buy, risk management, vendor rating and supplier performance management
• Knowledge of ERP/SRM platforms such as SAP, Alyante, Navision, D365 and Jaggaer is a plus
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Machinery Directive, Lean and Industry 4.0/5.0 concepts
• Experience with reverse factoring, bank guarantees, consignment stock and other cash-improvement tools

• Convey distinctive engineering skills to define and enhance procurement capabilities across CAPEX and CAPEX spend
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, analysis, alignment, and contract finalisation with Legal
• Develop supplier strategies and supplier performance improvement programmes
• Coordinate cost optimisation and value creation with Operations, Finance and Controlling
• Manage supplier selection, scouting, benchmarking and sourcing optimisation across Europe
• Organise workshops with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify best practices and cost-saving opportunities
