Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an analytical intern to support the Product Management team by building a global database of emissions regulations for industrial gas turbines. You will research regulatory requirements across markets, track changes, and provide insights to product strategy and customer outcomes.

You'll learn to use internal tools, collaborate with engineering and commercial teams, and develop dashboards to visualize regulatory trends.

Qualifications

Enrolled or recently graduated with a relevant degree.
GPA of 3.0 or higher (or equivalent).
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize large information.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify improvements.
Learn internal software to assist with projects and tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interns for global networking.
Apply HS&E standards to ensure compliance.
Research and monitor emissions regulations affecting turbines worldwide.
Create and maintain a structured regulatory database with key fields.
Develop dashboards and reports to make regulatory data actionable.
Work with Engineering and Environmental specialists to interpret technical requirements.
Communicate market needs and regulatory trends to Marketing and Growth teams.
Prepare management summaries highlighting regulatory risks and opportunities.
