Vertiv in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical design for standard and special units, collaborating with manufacturing, controls engineering, procurement and product marketing. You will join a multidisciplinary team focused on high-performance, cost-effective design and innovation.

The role requires 3+ years in HVAC electrical design, strong Electrical CAD skills, knowledge of EMC/LV standards, and good English.

Competenze

• Technical Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical design, ideally in HVAC.
• Excellent knowledge of Electrical CAD systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles is desirable.
• English – Intermediate level – written and spoken.
• Ability to work in a multinational, dynamic environment.
• Know-how of air conditioning/refrigeration products is a plus.
• Competences: result-oriented, team player, detail-oriented, flexible, well organized.

Mansioni

• Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on global products focusing on high performance, cost effective design and market leading innovation.
• Design electrical features of products and dimension principal parts or assemblies.
• Create and review product documentation (drawings, specifications, bills of material).
• Create design solutions for special products, cooperating to the costing process.
• Cooperate with Controls Engineering in the creation of controls connection guides.
• Co-design activity with external suppliers and colleagues across regions.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues about products under responsibility.
• Meet objectives of cost, quality, environment and time of execution.
• Travel between the Italian HQ and production facility in Slovakia when needed.
• Electrical CAD skills with strong attention to detail; ensure compliance with EMC and LV regulations.
