Vertiv in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer to develop and maintain electrical designs for CW CRAH units and chiller platforms. You will work on electrical panels, wiring, documentation and compliance, collaborating with cross‑functional teams including Controls and Manufacturing.

The role requires a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years in electrical design for HVAC or data center equipment, and knowledge of electrical standards and tools.

Competenze

• Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, Automation or related discipline.
• 3+ years of electrical design experience for HVAC, data center thermal equipment or chillers.
• Knowledge of electrical CAD, schematics, panel layouts and BOM management.
• Understanding of low-voltage design, component sizing, grounding and wiring practices.
• Familiarity with CE, EMC, LVD, EN 60204-1, UL/CSA standards.

Mansioni

• Develop electrical designs for CW CRAH, Thermal Wall and chiller products, selecting main electrical components and wiring solutions.
• Create electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams and BOMs.
• Define control wiring interfaces and collaborate with Controls Engineering across projects.
• Provide manufacturing support with clear documentation and design-for-manufacturing improvements.
• Ensure electrical compliance with CE, EMC, RoHS and applicable standards.
