Haier Europe invites applications for a Global Indirect Procurement BuyerIntern to join our team. The role focuses on shaping procurement strategies, supplier scouting, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to meet business needs.

This six-month paid internship offers 800 euro per month, meal tickets, smart working, and a company PC. Ideal candidates are students or new graduates fluent in English and Italian, with good Excel skills, eager to learn and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.

What you will do

We are looking for a Global Indirect Procurement BuyerIntern to join us. Specifically, the candidate will carry out, among others, the following activities:

• Assisting in the definition of procurement and purchasing strategies aimed at optimizing value.
• Supporting communication and coordination with internal stakeholders to help identify and define operational business needs.
• Participating in the RFQ process, including supplier scouting, communication follow-up, offer evaluation, and support in defining project deliverables, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Collaborating with the legal department in the drafting of contracts and helping manage related purchase orders.
• Contributing to the identification of new suppliers to support strategic supply base optimization and purchase analysis.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of cost reduction initiatives through reviews of vendors, materials, and contracts.
• Gathering and monitoring market trends relevant to assigned categories.
• Supporting risk identification activities and contributing to mitigation planning.

Who we are looking for
