Jam is seeking an experienced BESS Technical & Construction Leader to drive utility-scale Battery Energy Storage projects across the UK and Italy, from Ready-to-Build through commissioning and handover to operations.

Join a growing renewable energy business delivering complex HV electrical infrastructure with EPC/OEM collaboration, rigorous safety, and grid compliance. Fluent English required; Italian a plus.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
• Minimum five years' experience delivering utility-scale renewable or power infrastructure projects.
• Experience through detailed design, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Strong understanding of BESS technology, PCS, HV/MV, protection, SCADA and grid compliance.
• Experience with EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience delivering projects in the UK or Italy; Italian language is a plus.

Mansioni

• Support delivery from Ready-to-Build through commissioning and operation.
• Review designs for plant layouts, HV infrastructure, SCADA, protection, and grid interfaces.
• Assist EPC and OEM procurement, specs and tender evaluations.
• Coordinate interfaces among developers, EPCs, Owner's Engineers and stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, HSE, and contractor performance.
• Support grid compliance with UK and Italian operators.
• Coordinate commissioning, energisation, testing and acceptance.
• Review schedules, risks, change requests and deliverables.
• Support handover with complete commissioning docs and O&M manuals.
