Deel is seeking an Operations Manager to own automation and AI-driven improvements across its global payroll processes. You will design, test, and iterate AI-powered workflows (Akai) while leading multi-workstream projects and collaborating with engineering, product, and ops teams to close gaps and improve efficiency at scale.

This hands-on role rewards proactive problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to shape AI-enabled payroll on a world-spanning platform.

Competenze

• 5+ years of operations experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented mindset.
• Experience building and troubleshooting AI workflows, not just using AI.
• Engineering background or equivalent technical exposure preferred.

• Own day-to-day operational workflows and identify efficiency gains.
• Support automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks and improve speed and accuracy.
• Partner with engineering, product and ops teams to streamline tools and processes for internal teams and customers.
