Job summary

GEA is a leading supplier for the food and beverage processing industry with 18,000 employees in over 60 countries. We seek a Technical Service Support 2nd Level to provide 2nd level technical assistance to the local R&C Service organization, initiate corrective actions via CRM, and coordinate with in-house 3rd level support.

The ideal candidate has service mechanic experience, basic industrial electrical knowledge, and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. English and Spanish are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a service mechanic or similar roles.
• Basic knowledge of industrial electrical engineering.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• English and Spanish required (written and spoken).
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of SAP is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Provides 2nd level technical assistance to the local R&C Service organization.
• Initiates corrective actions via CRM ticket system.
• Supports by distributing 3rd level in-house support.
• Initiates and registers in Claims & Complaints system.
• Performs 1st level mechanical services in Italy and abroad.
• Installation & Commissioning on simple and complex systems.
• Travel up to 50% annually (up to 10 days overseas).
