Job summary

GEA invites applications for a Technical Service Support 2nd Level role based in Italy. The successful candidate will deliver second-level technical assistance, initiate corrective actions via CRM, and coordinate with in-house third-level support for installed machines.

The position requires travel up to 5 continuous days and about 50% of annual working hours, with overseas travel up to 10 days as needed. The indicative gross annual salary ranges from €35,000 to €40,000, plus potential bonuses

Qualifications

• Experience as a service mechanic or similar (FAT/SAT expert or technical support).
• Basic knowledge of industrial electrical engineering.
• Secondary School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; strong technical and communication skills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings (and possibly electrical diagrams).
• SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivers 2nd level technical assistance to the local R&C service, initiates corrective actions via CRM ticketing, and coordinates 3rd level in-house support.
• Files and tracks claims and complaints to resolve issues on installed equipment.
• Provides 1st level mechanical service in Italy and abroad, both predictive and proactive.
• Performs installation and commissioning of simple and complex systems.
• Supports local R&C GEA Service or customers where no local service is available.
• Suggests technical solutions across the full machine life cycle.
• Provides support and training guidelines for operating standards and service procedures to local and customer service teams.
