Job summary

ETAS GmbH, a Bosch Group affiliate, offers a 6-month curricular internship for Master’s students in embedded software and AI. You will explore Generative AI to help ensure the functional safety of automotive software and assess LLMs like ChatGPT and Gemini.

You will work with experienced developers and learn ISO 26262 while contributing to safety-critical projects, with monthly reimbursement of 700–900 EUR gross.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in the final year of a Master’s degree program.
• Experience with C and Python software development.
• Strong interest in Generative AI and how it augments software development.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Good English (B2/C1) and Italian (B2/C1) communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Use/train AI models to detect and correct functional safety faults in automotive software.
• Learn about ISO 26262, the standard for automotive safety.
• Collaborate with experienced software developers and receive mentoring.
