Bosch in Torino is offering a 6-month full-time curricular internship for thesis work focused on optimizing AUTOSAR code generation for resource-constrained embedded architectures. You will explore portability challenges across microcontroller families and develop methods to improve efficiency.

The role targets final-year master students in Embedded Systems or related fields, requiring strong C skills, knowledge of embedded systems and RTOS concepts, and bilingual English/Italian capabilities.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate student in their final year of a Master's degree program to join our team for a paid curricular internship opportunity for thesis. As an intern, you will investigate how modern AUTOSAR code generation technologies can be optimized to efficiently operate on resource-constrained embedded platforms. The project will explore the challenges and opportunities of deploying AUTOSAR-based software across a broad range of microcontroller architectures, from low-end devices with tight memory and performance constraints to more capable automotive-grade platforms. The goal of this theis internship is to analyse the assumptions and dependencies embedded in AUTOSAR code generators, identify optimization opportunities, and develop methodologies to improve portability, scalability, and runtime efficiency across different hardware architectures. The project combines software architecture analysis, embedded systems engineering, performance optimization, and practical experimentation. Qualifications Key qualifications

Additional Information

• Duration: 6 Months Full Time Internship (Curricular or Extracurricular); Internships foresee reimbursement at Bosch Italia.


• Depending on the level of your education, you will reimbursed with 700/900 euros (gross)/month.
