Descrizione del lavoro

We're a team with experience in unicorns (Satispay, Scalapay, Lansweeper, Soldo), scaleups, and big corporates (Microsoft, Apple, BCG, Bain, Ferrari, and more) tackling one of the biggest and most outdated verticals with AI: Procurement & Supply Chain.

Procurement teams manage trillions of euros every year yet still rely on emails and spreadsheets. We are here to change that by giving them the tech stack they deserve, the same way Sales has Salesforce and HR has Workday.

Position Overview

We're looking for a Found'er's Associate Intern to join the Found'er's Office and get a hands‑on, close‑up view of how a fast‑growing startup is actually run.

This is not a coffee-and‑calendars internship. It's a chance to sit next to the people making the calls: the founders and the Found'er's Associates, and to actively support the work that shapes the company. You won't be handed busywork on the side; you'll be executing real tasks inside real workstreams, learning by doing rather than by observing.

The Found'er's Office is the only function in the company with a simultaneous view of everything happening inside Compri: finance, operations, product, investors, and market strategy. As an intern, you will support activities across all five of these areas, working closely with the Found'er's Associates who will guide you, review your work, and help you build the skills to take on more as you go.

This is a learning‑intensive role built for someone early in their journey who wants exposure to strategy, finance, and operations all at once, not a comfortable, low‑effort placement. You'll be expected to show up prepared, execute reliably, and ask good questions. In exchange, you'll get a front‑row seat to company‑building that most internships never offer.

What You'll Support
OKR Architecture and Performance Measurement

The function that keeps the whole company pointed in the same direction.

  • OKR support: help prepare materials for company‑level OKR sessions and support the Found'er's Associates in tracking how individual objectives connect to company goals
  • Company metrics: help gather and organize the data behind company metrics, and flag gaps in what's currently being tracked
  • OKR process coordination: support the logistics of the OKR cycle (scheduling, documentation, follow‑ups) alongside People & Culture and the Found'er's Associates
Investor Relations

Keeping investor relationships alive and the data room always ready.

  • Monthly investor updates: help gather inputs from across the company and support drafting sections of the update under guidance
  • Investor database: keep the database of prospective investors up to date, logging status and next steps as directed
  • Data room support: help keep the data room organized and current, and support the preparation of materials for fundraising decks
Strategic & Financial Stewardship

The analytical backbone of the Found'er's Office.

  • Research and analysis support: support research work behind founder decisions (market sizing, competitive mapping, geography scans) by gathering and structuring data, with a Found'er's Associate guiding interpretation
  • Financial operations support: help with basic invoicing, cash flow tracking, and budget vs. actual reporting tasks under the direction of a Found'er's Associate
  • Grants and certifications support: help research relevant grants and certifications and prepare supporting documentation, with a Found'er's Associate owning sign‑off and submission
Operations & Cross‑Team Execution

Getting exposure to how teams connect and where things get stuck.

  • Strategic events: support logistics, content prep, and materials for Compri's participation in events, coordinating with Marketing, People & Culture, and the Found'er's Associates
  • Internal process support: help document recurring friction points across teams and support the Found'er's Associates in following up on proposed fixes
  • Inter‑team support: help track action items across teams and flag anything that looks stuck, so a Found'er's Associate can step in early
Reporting and Collaboration

You will report to the Found'er's Associates (Junior and Senior) and work under their direct guidance day to day. In practice, this means:

  • Your primary feedback loop is with the Found'er's Associates, who will assign your tasks, review your work, and help you build judgment over time
  • You will occasionally interact with founders and external advisors on specific, well‑scoped pieces of work, always with a Found'er's Associate involved
  • For cross‑team tasks, you'll coordinate through the Found'er's Associates rather than driving initiatives independently
  • You are part of a small, tight team. You're expected to communicate clearly, ask for help when you need it, and flag blockers early rather than sitting on them
Experience Criteria
  • No prior professional experience required. This role is built for someone who is freshly graduated or graduating and wants hands‑on exposure to how a startup's founders actually operate, not for someone with a finished track record
  • Strong academic foundation with comfort around numbers: you can follow a spreadsheet or a slide and understand what a piece of analysis is trying to say
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English and Italian: you'll help draft materials that others will review before they go out
  • Organized and dependable: you can manage your own task list, meet deadlines, and let someone know early if something is at risk
  • Curious about how businesses work: procurement, market dynamics, and company‑building interest you, even if you don't have direct experience in them yet
Preferred, but not required
  • A previous internship at another startup or in a consultancy
  • Involvement in a junior enterprise
Mindset and Traits

Intellectually honest. You say what you actually think, including when you disagree or when you don't know something. The Found'er's Office is a place where real opinions matter.

Structured under ambiguity. You can work in a context where not everything is defined. You bring your own structure to open‑ended problems rather than waiting for someone to hand you a template.

Ownership mentality. When you own a workstream, you own it: you track it, you flag risks, and you close the loop. You don't consider something done until it is actually done.

Growth‑oriented. You are early in your career and you know it. You take feedback well, you apply it fast, and you are building judgment rather than just accumulating tasks.

High‑intensity by default. This role moves fast and the bar is high. You don't need external pressure to perform at your best: you set your own standard and you hold yourself to it.

Comfortable being coached. You take feedback well and apply it quickly, rather than getting defensive about it. You'd rather be corrected early than be right slowly.

Compensation And Benefits
  • Monthly stipend: €750
  • Meal allowance: €10 per day meal voucher, whether working from the office or remotely
  • Flexible/hybrid arrangement for smart working
  • Growth path: we're looking for someone who wants to grow into a Junior Found'er's Associate role and has the hunger to prove they're ready for it
What We Offer
  • A real view of how a startup is run, from day one. You'll get exposure to finance, investor relations, product, and operations that most internships never come close to
  • Real tasks, not busywork. What you work on will feed directly into decisions the founders and Found'er's Associates make
  • Direct mentorship. You'll learn by working closely with people who've been at Satispay, Scalapay, BCG, Bain, Microsoft, and Apple
  • A concrete next step. Strong performance opens the door to a Junior Found'er's Associate role
A Typical Week
  • Start Monday with a short sync with your Found'er's Associate: get your task list for the week and flag anything you're unsure about
  • Spend time mid‑week executing a well‑scoped deliverable: pulling together data for a market scan, drafting a first pass on part of the investor update, or organizing documentation for a grant application
  • Sit in on a cross‑team touchpoint to see where friction is building between two functions, take notes, and share them with your Found'er's Associate
  • End the week with a short update to your Found'er's Associate: what got done, what's still open, and what you need help with next week
