Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Florence plant. The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and reduce costs, while working with cross-functional teams to ensure product manufacturability and quality.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's or Diploma with manufacturing experience, knowledge of lean methods, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma with proven experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in high-volume production.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
• Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, and methods to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Train and support production staff in the implementation of new processes and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
