Job summary

Baker Hughes Internship Program offers hands-on experience for students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or recent graduates. You’ll work on internal projects, learn financial software, and network with global leaders while receiving coaching from a buddy and manager.

The role includes exposure to HS&E practices, budgeting and forecasting processes, and preparing financial reports, with a monthly gross allowance of 600–1000 € depending on academic status and distance from the workplace.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Economics, Business or related program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale) or equivalent.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work legally in Italy without sponsorship or time restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
• Learn internal software to assist with project tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interns to network with global business leaders.
• Apply HS&E standards and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Assist in financial analysis tasks: review statements, variances, and performance metrics.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting, data collection and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow).
• Assist with audits by providing requested financial information.
• Use financial software and spreadsheet tools to perform analysis and reporting.
