Job summary

Baker Hughes in Italy is offering an Internship Program for students and recent graduates in Finance, Economics or Business. You will complete internal projects, learn internal software, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insights and support budgets and forecasting.

You will work under HS&E standards, gain mentoring, and have a chance to engage with global leaders while developing financial analysis, reporting, and audit support skills.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled or recently graduated in Finance, Economics or Business.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Legally able to work in the country without sponsorship.
• GPA ≥ 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.

As an Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
• Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders
• Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained
• Assisting in financial analysis tasks, such as analyzing financial statements, budget variances, and performance metrics to provide insights to management
• Participating in the budgeting and forecasting processes, including data collection, modelling, and variance analysis
• Preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate financial information to stakeholders
• Assisting with internal and external audits by providing requested financial information and supporting audit procedures
• Utilizing financial software and tools, such as accounting software or spreadsheet applications, to perform financial analysis and reporting tasks

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelors' or Masters' level degree in Finance, Economics, Business or business-related program
• Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
• Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills
• Be able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restriction
