Job summary

Bright Renewables is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Italy (Lombardy and Piedmont). You will service advanced biogas upgrading systems, work on international projects, and provide hands-on engineering support ensuring safe, efficient operation of installations.

The role involves travel, on-site maintenance, and collaboration with an international team. A technical degree and English proficiency are required, with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• A technical diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience with industrial installations, utilities, energy systems, oil & gas, water treatment, or similar environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• H hands-on mindset and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• An English-language CV when applying.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on renewable energy installations.
• Commission and start up new installations, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues.
• Carry out Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Provide technical support to customers during plant operation and optimization.
• Supervise subcontractors during installation and commissioning activities.
• Participate in a rotating on-call service schedule.
